Drawn in the browser

This generator does not send you an image. The server sends a short description of one — the parameters below, plus a 32-byte key — and the drawing is done here, from the same byte stream the server would have used. That needs JavaScript, so with it switched off there is nothing to show.

The description itself is still public: /api/v1/g/images.blob returns it, and the maths is in resources/js.

Specimens

1 9

The first one is the subject and runs off the edges of the frame; the rest are companions settled around it, each an independent draw of m, n₁, n₂ and n₃.

Bands

1 14

Concentric copies of the same shape, shrinking inwards and walking the palette as they go. Few and opaque reads as a body; many and thin reads as a scribble.

Symmetry (m)

0 16

Below 3, the seed draws m per shape — the surprise-me setting. Above it, every shape is pinned to the same fold count.

Morph

0 1.5

How far n₁, n₂ and n₃ drift between the outer band and the innermost one. At zero the bands are concentric copies.

Twist

0 2

Rotation accumulated from band to band, in turns. A little offsets the lobes; past a tenth or so the bands stop lining up and the shape turns into interference.

Scatter

0 1

How far the companions sit from the subject. At zero they crowd into it; at one they stand clear of it.

Fill opacity

0 1

Zero leaves pure outlines. Near one, each band covers the one outside it and the specimen reads as a solid.

Outline width

0 8

Zero leaves pure fills.

Entropy source

Picking a source changes the story on the receipt, never the quality: anything below class A is mixed with the OS CSPRNG before it reaches you. This result actually came from RANDOM.ORG.

seed token X5QS1V86GFVVPFCAM68784QRCG

Re-render keeps this token. Generate replaces it. That is the whole idea.

Burned into the corner before the file is written, so the image keeps its provenance wherever it ends up:

The token is the seed, so this link recomputes the result rather than looking it up. No database, and it works for as long as v1 does.

This page and /api/v1/g/images.blob run the same code. There is no private endpoint.
