B3/S23 · 225×150 cells · 240 generations · 38% soup · long exposure
The original. Poised between growth and extinction, which is why it supports gliders, guns and, eventually, a universal computer. Drawn as a long exposure of all 240 generations: every cell keeps a decaying record of how often it has been alive, so still lifes burn in brightest, oscillators sit dimmer, and a glider leaves a comet trail behind it. The world is a torus — B3/S23 wraps at every edge — so nothing falls off.

The token is the seed, so this link recomputes the result rather than looking it up. No database, and it works for as long as v1 does.
This page and /api/v1/g/patterns.life run the same code. There is no private endpoint.
